We’ve just launched our new client dashboard, a major step forward in how our users interact with WeavePay day to day!
It’s designed to make operations smoother and more intuitive with a focus on polishing the core features: sending and receiving funds, saving recipients, issuing and topping up cards, viewing insights, and messaging securely with your manager. It is clean, stable, and responsive, and by far the most extensive client-side update we've released since our company's inception.
Since launching it a few weeks ago, we've been paying close attention to feedback. The response has been very positive, which is encouraging and gives us a strong base to build on for what’s coming next.
At the same time, we're blessed with clients who span dozens of industries and often use multiple financial platforms, so it is only natural that they compare and share what works best across those tools. This range of perspectives has been invaluable and has helped us not only improve our features based on standards in the UK and US, but also given us insight into what is being built in countries like India, the Philippines, Germany, Nigeria, and Brazil. Each ecosystem often has a standout batch of fintech innovators, and the global nature of our clients has sharpened our thinking and direction.
Looking at the best each player has to offer, we see that there are many areas where our technology can improve, and we are continually working to make that happen. But in the spirit of transparency, we also want to bring our clients and partners along in how we think.
We believe that software is critical, but not everything. The deeper we go, the more we recognize that real, lasting value often lies in the parts that are harder to see. It comes from the character of the team, the patience behind the product, and the integrity that is built over time, among other non-tangible things. These qualities might not be obvious early on, but they become clear across years of existing within the ecosystem and interactions with everyone from clients to partners and regulators.
Qualities other than software are especially important to us because at our core, we operate differently from most. Unlike tech companies that simply layer software on top of traditional banks, we hold a direct financial license, operate under strict regulatory oversight, and meet many of the same standards as the banks we partner with. This gives us a deep, working understanding of how banking actually functions and allows us to collaborate closely with financial institutions around the world.
As a financial technology company we build with a focus on long-term stability, tackling challenges at their root because we understand how the system works from the inside. One such challenge that is not flashy yet holds enormous weight has been our buildout of a custom core banking system, which helps us resolve issues faster, offer reliable services to our clients, and build products that are innovative and attractive both financially and functionally.
Looking ahead, we're staying focused on helping the teams who build international businesses. Our first clients were mostly manufacturers and import/export firms. Today, we’re seeing even more of them, along with companies from marketing, IT, marketplaces, sports, travel, and hospitality. These types of businesses often struggle with traditional banks, which can make running things more complicated than it needs to be. We’re proud to offer tools that make their daily work simpler, help them grow, and ultimately serve their own customers better.
To our clients, thank you for trusting us.
Whether you have been with us from the beginning or are just getting to know us, we appreciate you.
Everyone at WeavePay, from the founders and directors to the newest members are working day and night to serve you better and we're just getting started!
